Veterinary Assistants
All of our assistants are here to assist the doctors with the care and handling of your pets. They are qualified at sample collection and routine tests, preparing vaccinations and prepping for the doctor’s exam. They are here to care for your pets as if they were their own.
Receptionists
Our receptionists are here from the moment we open, until the time we close, to assist with check-ins, check outs, scheduling, medication refills, food purchases, and customer questions. Our clients are very important to us, and we strive to assist you with all of your needs.
Office Manager
Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Julia graduated from Trinity Episcopal High School in 2001 and went on to earn her B.A. in psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. With more than a decade of experience providing support to pet owners and their pets in veterinary hospital settings, Julia takes great pride in supervising Bon Air Animal Hospital’s staff to ensure that check-in and check-out procedures run smoothly. Julia currently lives in downtown Manchester with her husband, William, daughter Milou, and their teddy bear puppy, McGruff. When she’s not in the office, you can find her out in her garden, spending time with family and friends and/or at home perfecting her favorite recipes.
Kennel Staff
Our kennel supervisor and assistants strive to make our kennel area your pet’s home away from home. We aim to create a safe, comfortable environment for dogs and cats. Our staff provides walking, feeding, and medicating services during their stay, and are there to give love and attention.
